Tämä viikko on ollut ihan mahtava. Olen saanut kaksi kaunista kukkakimppua sekä lahjoja Wisconsinista, ihanan keramiikkalautasen ja villiriisiä. Lisäksi jo aiemmin talo on lahjonut meitä, kuten Lempi huomasikin. Vintissä on aina ollut neljä tuolia, ehkä noin 1950-luvulta. Ne ovat ehjät, kauniit, lähes käyttämättömät eikä kukaan tiedä kenen peruja. Peräkamarissa on myös aina ollut tuo kirjava villainen viltti, joka on nyt pojan sängyn peittona. Jotenkin pidän siitä, että talossa on tavaroita, jotka kuuluvat tänne. Talon tavaroista ja meidän tavaroistamme syntyy se kokonaisuus, joka on meidän kotimme. Nuo pöydällä olevat tabletit taas muistuttavat minua siitä ajasta, kun elin yksin ja kaksi tablettia pöydälle oli oikein riittävä määrä. Nyt tarvitsen käyttöön siis kesä- ja joulu-tabletit yhtä aikaa. Jotenkin tuntuu, että olen tällä hetkellä elämän piloille hemmottelema. Ihanaa viikonloppua!
This week has been great. I've got lots of flowers and a beautiful plate with wild rice from Wisconsin (Thank You M <3). Also our house has been sharing her gifts with us lately. This summer we found four chairs from the attic, they are propably from the 1950s and nobody remebers to whom they used to belong to. They are beautiful and we enjoy them every day. Also there's a blanket made from wool, that has always been here. It is now the daily coverage on my step-sons bed. The table cloths reminds me of the time I used to live alone; back then two tablets was plenty. Now I need to use the whole year's collection of tablets at the same time. I am so spoiled by life right now. Have a nice weekend!
